Casa Etxalde is an ideal starting point for discovering the mountains on foot or on two wheels. We are located in an area of great geographical diversity, where the landscape changes completely within just a few kilometres: from the 550 metres of Beget to the 2,868 metres of Bastiments.
This variety offers endless possibilities, whether you are looking for a peaceful hike through forests and mountain villages or want to take on more demanding routes with greater elevation gain.
One of the main routes in the area is the GR-11, the trail that crosses the Pyrenees from Cap de Creus to Hondarribia. The trail passes very close to Casa Etxalde and allows you to venture into the heart of the Pyrenees towards Molló, Setcases, Núria and many other places.
And if you enjoy MTB, you will find a wide variety of forest tracks, mountain paths and quiet mountain roads to discover the Camprodon Valley and its surroundings at your own pace.
